For this special tea, Oolong is mixed and fermented together with ginseng powder. This then results in spherical pellets in a dark green color.
Even when not brewed, the tea smells strongly of ginseng and oolong. A really unique fragrance.
This oolong tea has one pronounced ginseng aroma. In general, the tea tastes very different from other oolongs like that Formosa Dong Ding Oolong or that Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea.
Preparation of ginseng oolong tea
Like other Oolong teas or green tea, it is recommended to use the Gingseng Oolong 80 ° C hot water to brew. The water immediately changes color to an intense green-yellow color.
The tea can be drunk immediately, but after about 4 minutes it has reached its strongest aroma. The tea does not become too strong even if it is steeped for a long time.
We recommend for one liter of ginseng oolong tea approx. 3 teaspoons of tea to use.
