Gushu Sheng Pu Erh
2013 spring
Tasting notes from a tea friend who has only recently started Sheng Pu Erh:
Aroma / smell:
Smoky and earthy, sweetish woody like honey, damp forest or wood, or a bit like the bark of a camphor tree (maybe?)
Taste: honey, smoked, lingering sweet aftertaste
Consistency: dry, round, oily and filling
Tasting notes from a tea friend who has been drinking Sheng Pu Erh for a while
minty, sweet, a bit bitter, nutty
A little jelly, darker and deeper than very fresh Sheng Pu Erh
