Where is Bai Hua Tan?
Bai Hua Tan is a small village located about 1700m above sea level in the deep forests of the Yiwu Mountains in Mengla County, Yunnan. It is located at the river mouth where three rivers, Tong Qing He, Jin Chang He and Bu Long He, converge.

Pu Erh tea fans who are familiar with Yiwu Pu Erh know how sweet and smooth a Yiwu Pu Erh can be. As the queen of Pu Erh tea, a Yiwu Pu Erh is also known for quickly becoming sweet again after swallowing. This is also a highlight of our 2023 Bai Hua Tan: the sweetness returns as soon as you swallow the tea and lingers in the throat with its florality for a long time. That is the beauty of this Bai Hua Tan Pu Erh.


A Yiwu Sheng Pu Erh is also known for its high price. This Bai Hua Tan Pu Erh can be enjoyed at an affordable price because its material is not pure Gushu (old trees), but a mixture of old and small trees.

We recommend the traditional "Gong Fu preparation" for this tea:

1. Heat a small teapot of about 200 ml with boiling water
2. Pour out the water, add about 7 grams of tea into the pot
3. Pour boiling water on the Pu Erh, wait 3 seconds and pour the tea away (This step is to activate the pressed tea and clean it of any dust)
4. Pour boiling water over the Pu Erh tea again. Let it brew for about 20 seconds
