Description

Fantastic sencha with strong umami.

--

Sencha Yutakamidori

A first-class Sencha green tea from the Shizuoka region. Relatively strong umami taste. Fine, short leaves with an intense leaf green.

Preparation of the Sencha:
Make sure that the tea water is not hotter than 70 ° C when brewing. The longer you let the tea steep, the more intense its umami will be.

Absolutely wonderful

A great green tea with a fresh, floral taste, still good even after several infusions. Beautiful color!

One of my favorite teas with great umami and good value for money. In my opinion, the water should not be hotter than 60°, otherwise the tea quickly becomes bitter.

Tastes delicious and can be brewed multiple times, the tea comes out of the tea strainer in one piece after brewing - it's that fine. I'll definitely buy it again

Full and round

The tea is full and round, very digestible. I always get a different result, which is what makes it so appealing - it has enough substance and plenty of it. I'm actually too frugal: a slightly higher dosage brings that typical noble bitterness and still makes more infusions.

Not enthusiastic

I bought the tea for the second time by chance and came to the same conclusion: I would rather buy more expensive Japanese teas. The leaves I got had a high dust content, which makes brewing a little tricky. It probably depends on the person brewing, but I couldn't get an uplifting taste experience out of the tea, even though I tried a lot of things.

Wonderful Sencha and not expensive with 3 infusions

High-quality green tea, with the fresh taste that a green tea should have, in my opinion. Long-lasting (at least three infusions) and good value for money

Beautiful light green color. Taste slightly grassy and slightly bitter, which takes a back seat to a great umami. Such umami is otherwise only found in rare Gyokurus. Great Sencha!
