Nannuo Shan 2020 Spring Dashu Sheng Pu Erh
Dashu means big trees and Gushu means old trees.
This Nannuo Shan is a first-class Sheng Pu Erh (Raw Pu Erh Tea) from young trees around 80 years old from the Nannuo Mountains in southern China. Harvest is spring 2020.
The cake is quite loosely pressed.
Aroma of the dry leaves in a warm gaiwan: smoky, creamy, sweet like burnt sugar.
Taste: sweet, fruity and creamy without bitterness and astringency.
Compared to this year's Nannuo Shan Gushu, this Dashu tea is less sweet and roasted. Gushu is very, very sweet and flowery, very pure, but also deep and offers more infusions. Gushu is also bitter and more energetic. Dashu is sweet, toasted, creamy, but less potent, with less tea energy. But it is a gentle and pleasant pleasure. It's also very cute if you don't compare it to a gushu.
